The Ides of March

Today is my father's 79th birthday. An auspicious day to start something new, and this blog is new to me. Here in Montpelier, we are worried that our leap into spring will bring more water downstream than our river, the Winooski (which means Onion River) can safely transport downstream to Lake Champlain.
